Onsen Rights

The quintessential Japanese experience, there is nothing quite like soothing away the aches from a long day of skiing in a steaming natural onsen.

The Myoko area is blessed with plentiful and high quality onsen sources, and boasts many fantastic public access onsen.

The ultimate goal for many, whether purchasing an existing building or constructing a new home, is to bring this stunning natural resource directly into the property. However, onsen is a protected resource – as it should be – and requires special permission and licensing from the local council.

At Resort Property Japan, we are specialists in agenting onsen rights, and are well placed to help our buyers secure onsen licenses to their properties, whether for an existing building or a new build.

Real Estate contracts and legal documents can be hard to understand, and that’s in English! We provide a Japanese to English translation service for all real estate documentation and contracts, including but not limited to sales contracts and important matters.
